Central Lab (CentraPath Lab Pvt. Ltd), a unit of Dr Lal PathLabs which is a nationally renowned diagnostic chain.
Central Lab is one of the leading NABL accredited diagnostic chain with core focus in Central India. With our Patient Centric approach and 5 renowned and advanced labs we provide medical excellence and quality diagnostics service to 4 lakh+ patients annually.

We have served as the primary line of defense for Indore in infectious disease control during pandemic, encompassing instances like COVID-19, dengue, and swine flu. In accordance with our unwavering dedication to public health, we have launched the first stand alone Biosafety Level 3 laboratory in Central India.

History of Central Lab
2011 – 2015
2011 – 2015
Central Lab started in 2011 with facilities for automated IHC, molecular diagnostic, nephelometry and flow cytometry with 50 employees.- 2012: Central Lab obtained NABL accreditation and did CAP proficiency.
- 2012: Dr. A.P.J. Kalam felicitated Dr. Vinita Kothari, Director, Central Lab for the vision of affordable diagnostics with ISO15189 (NABL).
- Youngest NABL accredited Lab of Madhya Pradesh.
- 2013: The Director of Central Lab was awarded prestigious Padma Bhushan Dr. S. K. Mukherjee Award & awarded as an Achiever by The Times of India.
- 2013: Award for TB eradication and awareness by Dept. of Health, M.P. Govt.
- 2015: ISO felicitated the Director of Central Lab.
- 2015: Director, Central Lab was felicitated as Faculty at Workshop on Control of NCD and Tobacco by Indian Medical Association.

Infrastructure
The lab is equipped with high-end imported machines like Roche COBAS 8000 (USA) and Sysmex 3100 (Japan) capable of providing very accurate and faster reports. Our automated laboratory is designed in a way to eliminate human errors and provide accurate reports.
We are constantly investing in state-of-the-art technologies including Immuno Histochemistry, Molecular/Genetic Lab, Nephlometry etc to maintain the highest standards.
Complaint Resolving
All the complaints/ feedback received from clinicians, patients and other parties are promptly addressed and records of complaints, investigations and corrective actions taken are documented and maintained.
The laboratory head in consultation with Quality Manager investigates all complaints/ feedback and approved prompt appropriate corrective action.
All the complaints/ negative feedback is documented, and their investigations & actions are maintained in complaint registers.

Health Camps
Central Labs in association with district administration has been conducting health camps, which is the world’s largest survey for prevention of chronic lifestyle diseases. So far in the survey we have screened 1,65,000 individuals.
Our efforts towards lifestyle disease prevention are aimed at screening and early detection of risk factors for non-communicable diseases.
