  • Serology and Immunology:
  • Reported on Widal (tube and slide), Rapid Plasma Reagin test, VDRL test, Latex agglutination tests of C-Reactive Protein, Anti-Streptolysin O and Rheumatoid factor, ELISA for NS1 & IgM for Dengue, all virological markers of Hepatitis B and C, Japanese Encephalitis, Chikungunya,
  • EIA based Line Immuno Assays for Tissue transglutaminase test, Antinuclear antibodies, TORCH. Treponema pallidum Hemagglutination test, Immunochromatographic tests for HBsAg, HCV, Urine Pregnancy Test, IgM for S. Typhi, Dengue NS1 & IgM, Leishmaniasis, HAV, HEV.
  • Well versed with Mini Vidas.


  • Well versed with the diagnostic testing of certain viruses via immunological tests already mentioned. Reported on immunochromatographic testing of HIV in Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre (ICTC) and Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission (PPTCT).


  • Well versed with certain parasitological techniques like Quantitative Buffy Coat, Direct microscopy of stool for ova/cysts, rapid card tests for Malaria.


  • Well versed with mycological techniques including microscopy and identification of fungus on different media including SDA, EDM & CMA.
  • Molecular Microbiology:
  • Well versed with PCR and RT-PCR.

BMW & Infection Control:

  • Involved in the Hospital Infection control and biomedical waste management via taking rounds & conducting Biomedical waste management on-site/scheduled training programmes.


  • Three years experience in teaching Microbiology to Undergraduate Medical, Dental, Nursing and DMLT students.
  • Experience in teaching and practical training of post graduate Lab Medicine students at AIIMS.
  • Three years experience in teaching and training of DMLT students.
