  • Authorized signatory for the all personalized pharmacogenomics, cytogenetics, Fluorescence in situ hybridization and Microarray test reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning & implementing of internal Quality Control, External Quality Control & proficiency tests.
  • Validation of cytogenetics reports pertaining to normal or any structural or numerical chromosomal anomalies.
  • Ensure results are reported within turnaround time.
  • Complaint handling & reducing complaints.
  • Responsible for the management & documentation of clerical, analytical, pre-analytical errors.
  • Maintaining online document control in accordance with ISO 15189:2012 and CAP guidelines.
  • Designing new panels for FISH tests.
  • Additionally, shaping up the data generated form the laboratory into a research articles.
  • Works involves routine chromosome diagnosis for infertility, patients with short stature, hypogonadism, undescended testis, microcephaly, delayed developmental milestones, familial and isolated mental retardation, and cerebral palsy. Screening of 10 cases of constitutional abnormalities per day and their reporting as per ISCN nomenclature.
  • Screening and analysing all Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) tests related to hematological malignancies, single gene disorders, sex chimerism, Her/neu2 amplification etc as per CAP guidelines.
  • Authorized signatory for all FISH and microarray test reports as per ISO 15189:2012.
  • Screening and analysis of microarray data using Chromosome Analysis Suite (ChAS) Software.
