Ion Torrent platform is recognized as the world’s first PostLight sequencing technology. Instead of using light as an intermediary, Ion Torrent technology creates a new semiconductor chip—with high-density of micro-machined wells to perform biochemical process in a massively parallel way.

The Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 6 Flex Real-Time PCR System is ideal for laboratories with multiple applications. It is an ideal qPCR platform to accommodate changing future needs.

  • The TwinCubator (Hain Lifescience)is intended for use with DNA strips corresponding to reverse hybridization assays and designed for molecular diagnostic assays developed by Hain Lifescience (MTBDRplus).
  • The TwinCubator offers laboratories a rapid and simple hybridization platform for analysing genotyping.
  • Used to perform Line Probe Assays (LPA) for detection of First and Second line Drug Sensitivity in Mycobacterium tuberculosis

Gen-Probe Leader 50i Luminometer

  • This is a luminometer that measures the amount of light emitted from chemiluminescent reactions.
  • It is designed to be used with Gen-Probes’s, Amplified MTD, assays.
  • It efficiently stores up to 30 protocols and accommodates the throughput needs of most laboratories for diagnosis of Tuberculosis and other diseases.

Used for MTD Amplified Products - Direct detection of Mycobacteria using clinical specimens


The Gel Doc XR+ System is based on CCD high-resolution, high-sensitivity detection technology and modular options to accommodate a wide range of samples and support multiple detection methods including fluorescence and colorimetric detection.
